We’re proud to announce our new communal garden! Spearheaded by our Clinical Director, Dewey Paris, several above ground garden plots were built for residents to tend their very own vegetables and herbs. To date, we have tomatoes, cucumbers, melons, peppers and more!

Gardens can have a powerful therapeutic effect on people. As the woman pictured here with her ripening husky red tomatoes contently said, “[the garden] gives me a sense of responsibility. It makes me feel useful again!”

Thanks to everyone who helped launch our garden. And a special thanks to our dedicated and caring residents who make it possible! This summer is looking green and tasty!
